So, who am I to question the wisdom of the food industry that so eagerly gobble up millions of pounds of profit everyday while providing you with the cheapest ingredients possible dressed up in a cocktail of chemicals and preservatives, topped with an advertising campaign that would put the cigarette companies to shame.
All this so the supermarkets have shelf life. There are no free lunches in this life, if you want cheap food and months of shelf life you are risking an early death.
I have a cup of milk from Starbucks that I forgot about. It is one month and it still smells and tastes fine. I am leaving it in their to see how long it will last. I had some non-organic oranges for show last year and again forgot about them. It was 6 months before I threw them out and they still looked and felt as good as new.
